I was recently unfortunate enough to stumble upon a bunch of "straight pride" bullshit clubs and things here on DA. This fucking sickens me. Not only does it downplay and degrade the fight for gay rights and gay pride, it makes you look like a fucking bigot idiot. I can't tell you how many times I have heard the argument that straight people need a pride parade too, in the name of fairness. I have been a little absent from DA for a while. I'd love to have a good excuse, but I really don't. Unless laziness is an excuse. Which it isn't. I saw Rent over the weekend with Anthony and Adam during the final run. It was amazing. My most interesting news: I went in for a tattoo around the holidays (Da Vinci's rearing horse, with my own flair, on the back of my calf) and totally hit it off with the tattoo artist. He did my tattoo 1/2 price, in exchange I am supposed to meet with him for art sessions and help him on his portrait technique. Needing a new journal entry........To push the old one off my front page. La di da. I've been doing art, but a lot less digital just-for-fun stuff and a lot more oil painting for class. The end is in sight, B.A. in studio art next spring, then onward to grad school.
